Jazz at Suns Game Thread

We need to get ingles to the all star three point shoot out...

That slow release (not to mention his slow running from rack to rack) means he probably wouldn't even get to the 5th rack.

Probably still win doe.

After playing well in the first half, Mack got burned very badly by Lowry in the last quarter in our loss at Toronto. His playing time got reduced immediately after that game, and he has accumulated 44 minutes across 4 games since. In that time, he has shot 3-13, given off 4 assists, recorded no steals, and committed 5 turnovers.

Looks to me like it's just his turn in the doghouse, just took a few games to shoo him all the way in.
Good job with the stats

No matter how far he got we would all win. All. Of. Us. Win.

aggressive push on the back that could seriously injure a player like the one Booker gave to Rudy should be a flagrant foul because there is absolutely no play on the ball.

Ya that was pretty bad and dangerous

Rudy continues to amaze... makes one play a game on offense that he didn't have the year before.

Loved the baseline lefty floater from 10 feet out early in the game last night. (Think he was fouled on the play too)
Looked easy and natural.

He just put it up cause he got fouled, it looked lucky.
I agree that he put it up cause he got fouled. Disagree 100% about it looking lucky.
I thought it looked easy, natural, perfect.

I created a thread about this awhile back but it appears I'm in a minority of one about the physical play getting out of hand. The Suns were ridiculous. A foul could've been called on every possession against them yet the Jazz only shot 21 foul shots, and I think plays where there is an aggressive push on the back that could seriously injure a player like the one Booker gave to Rudy should be a flagrant foul because there is absolutely no play on the ball.

You know, I think there's some merit to this, although you framed it differently. You said, literally, that the Jazz are soft and that's why teams are being physical. I don't agree. I think teams like the Suns, Orlando, Phili, etc. (young, scrappy, inconsistent, losing), go after this team because they do not respect them, yet. They think they are better than us, and they know the refs will let the teams play when it gets physical. Make no mistake, the Jazz are out there pushing, grabbing, and playing physical too, we're just better at it and know how to win these games. Our defense is too good, our players are too savy, and Rudy ****ing Gobert.

This team used to play that way against good teams and lose. I see how those good teams saw the Jazz back then. We're now more disciplined, skilled, and talented. I like that we can beat these types of teams more regularly. The next steps will be beating the good teams this way, which we've struggled with so far this season.

Our last few draft picks, Lyles and Exum, sure had a massive impact on last night's game...
Note to Lindsey: substitute the ballerina drills with simple shooting. Players put ball through basket? Yes, consider drafting. Players show great balance but can't shoot? Cross off draft list.

Just watch Rudy get mugged all night long, and whoop their *** anyway.

Cause so many first & second year players never struggle. Your boy Burks was by far the worst, absolutely atrocious court awareness.

Nobody's listening to your inane drivel anymore mate. Just be happy things are going well.
