No man. You can't worry about who you are reboudning over as a rebounder. If you are a great rebounder you have the mentality of going after every board. You really can't turn that off/on. It's not like our guards push the ball off rebounds either, so your point is kind of moot.

Was thinking the same thing. Get the ball back into your possession is priority #1.

Hope not. To a certain extent his already padding his rebounding stats by stealing them off the guards who as a result can't get the ball up the court as fast.


Although his rebounding was huge down the stretch today, I just him to communicate with the guards earlier on in games so that we can push the pace. As the game wears on then I don't mind so much.

The way Rudy improved exponentially on the defensive end two years ago is the same way he's improving now on the offensive end.

It's really amazing to watch - Rudy's is like the monster from Alien, he's growing into an unstoppable force right before our eyes.

The Mavericks are like a bad euro soccer team, they flop and complain on every possession. For a while there they had the refs eating out of their hands.

Felt like burks played ok. Had a decent amount of bad and good plays but I think his good plays slightly out did his bad plays.
Thought he should have came in when hill fouled out (can't be to upset though since the jazz won) and going forward I think that if the jazz can't decide on a back up point then I would like to see the triple wing more with burks, hayward, ingles/hood.
