Disappointing facts: Jazz vs. Playoff Teams

Jazz have an amazing record vs. non-playoff teams: 21-3, and pretty bad record
vs. playoff teams: 9-16

I found this to be disappointing:

Jazz record vs. Playoff Teams when:
Trailing at the end of the 1st Quarter: 0-8
Trailing at Halftime: 1-13
Trailing at the end of the 3rd Quarter: 0-12

Final Score point differential vs. Playoff teams when:
Trailing at the end of the 1st Quarter: -11.4 (Jazz 90.3, Opp 101.6)
Trailing at Halftime: -9.2 (Jazz 90.6, Opp 99.9)
Trailing at the end of the 3rd Quarter: -11.5 (Jazz 89.3, Opp 100.8)

Conclusion:
When playoff teams jump on us early, you can stick a fork in the Jazz...game over.

Wow, that really does suck. I didn't realize it was that bad. I'd imagine that all the teams probably know these stats as well, and as you said, play us hard in the first half and it's over.
This doesn't bode well for going into the playoffs, hopefully the second half of the season, the Jazz can change this into a more favorable winning percentage against playoff teams.

I'm not worried. Nothing has changed for my projections for the jazz season since the season began.

4th seed. First round win. Lose in the 2nd round in tough series (probably 4-2)

I highly doubt it (2 games that is. We might win 1). I also think getting thru the first round will be tough.
