Dante had a few more pimples again today. Pimples = non-confident bad Dante play
I really hate watching Lyles play. How much better would we be DL had the foresight to sign draft Devin booker.
ThisHe's instructed to take those open shots and if he turns them down he is also benched.
Either way wouldn't you have Exum playing "terrible" and learning opposed to Mack playing "terrible" but just being terrible?
YepDont get me wrong I'd be fine with benching Dante for someone who was actually productive. But if its a case of Mack or Neto v Exum not playing Exum is just stupid imo. Mack and Neto can't help this team in the playoffs whereas if Quin can bring Dante along he could really help us defensively.
I know Dante's development isn't the #1,2,3 or 4 priority of the Jazz this season but the last 2 games we lost regardless so whats the harm? Playing Exum as back up PG is not costing us games, being indecisive about who your back up PG is is.
What are the chances the Jazz close out the pre all-star break 3-0? 2 games at home vs LAC and vs POR. Then on the road @ Bucks.
I thought our strategy last night sucked.
For the life of me why didn't anyone ever attempt to post thomas up? Defensively, he should've been a liability for them. We failed to exploit that.

I'm not sure what to think about this team right now.
If you asked me before the season that a couple games before the ASB the Jazz would be 34-21 (on pace to win 50/51 games) and would be in the 4th/5th seed I'd have taken it in a heartbeat. In the grand scheme of things they are doing well this year.
But the last two games, eek. The Dallas losses just still irritates the **** out of me because when you have a 20+ point lead in a game losing is inexcusable. I don't know if the Dallas hangover just extended into the Boston game or if Boston is just a bad matchup for the Jazz (or both) but it's kind of frustrating to see.
The Clippers game should answer a lot of questions. I think the Jazz match up better with them, the game is at home, and after dropping two in a row we should see if they have some ****ing pride or not.
