Since we cant get any extension done on Hill/Favors we might as well use what cap-space we have left, right? They want to get out from paying Ezeli this year to save money and we have Neto making practically nothing this year.

Get the rights to their Cleveland 2017 pick for taking on Ezeli's contract this year. Ezeli is owed 7 million next year, but only 1 million is guaranteed.

He didnt do anything. He attempted to say something to inspire their ****ty team and CJ shut him down. That isnt being a bad locker-room player, it's them being a ****ty team.
 
And when you trade for a guy you 100% plan on cutting you can tell him to not even bother showing up and just stay home.

Yeah and CJ did the right thing. Fetus hasn't even played a single game for the Blazers and for him to run his mouth is just too rich. Good on CJ for standing up for himself and his team.

A player with experience on a winning team tried to explain to his teammates how to win and play hard?

I fail to see how that's a problem. The Blazers response to Ezeli is more concerning than what he did. And his name is Festus, not Fetus.

Yeah but when you have not even played 1 game for your new team it's really rich to stand up and tell them what your team is doing wrong, etc.

Uhh, many teams have vets on the bench who dont play or barely play at all who other players look up to for advice. Festus got a ring, those bitches dont.

By that logic, a coach can't lecture either. They're not playing. Fans can't lecture either. Hell, nobody but the players can lecture, but only if they're playing.

In fact, if John Stockton came in and told the Jazz what that doing wrong, I hope Hayward would cut him off and tell him to knock it off.

Coach is paid to lecture, Festus is paid to play.
 
Either way One Love, your original point is dumb as ****. Festus would not come to Utah and destroy our locker-room. 0% chance that would happen.

Now, get back to what the OP is about. Would Portland give us Cleveland's pick for Neto and taking his contract? I dont see why we wouldn't do that unless Greg Miller is against paying 6 million for a late round pick.

Imparting knowledge is fine, but only if it doesn't aggravate the players who are actually playing and creating chaos in the locker room.

Uhh, maybe. IDK, he is owed 7 million next year. Not what I want to pay our backup center. Our backup center will have to be a league minimum player with how much we are going to pay Hayward/Hill/Gobert.
