Thanks. Went to look for it and you had it posted before I found it. Seems like with all the interest shown towards Lou recently that they could've gotten more. If they had to send him to the Rockets. . . at least they could have made it painful.

I think Washington was only offering a protected pick of some kind. Houston might have been only team willing to deal an unprotected pick this year.

Crowded backcourt in Houston - Harden, Gordon, and Beverley all playing 30+ mins and now they've added Williams. Thin at SF though, Brewer was main backup to Ariza. Either KJ McDaniels is going to get more time or they'll play Gordon as an undersized SF.

But OMG, imagine a lineup that has Williams-Harden-Gordon-Anderson in it. It doesn't matter who plays the 5 (or 4), that's a foursome that'll run up the score at both ends.

Houston likely finishes the season with the 3rd best record in the NBA. So basically they traded a mediocre role player and a #28 pick for Lou Williams? The Jazz could have easily offered something better i would think, our Golden State pick + a 2nd rounder + Mack?
