Why Not Trade Idea?

Favors, Burks, and multiple 1st rounders for Devin Booker and Tyson Chandler.

Suns are interested in Favors and want to dump Chandler who wants to leave. We send them at least 2 1st rounders (GS this year and OKC next?)

Booker is a current and future stud. Hood becomes one of the best 6th men in the league after he is able to get healthy. Chandler is overpaid, but he wants to compete. He would be a great mentor to Gobert. After this trade, we focus more on small ball with Hill, Booker, Hood, Hayward and Gobert.

I'm open to attacks from Cy or others. If we have to include more, then so be it. Chime in....

If Booker has been declared off limits, let me know. Last time I checked, I dont hear that much about him in an untouchable super star sense. If we consider targeting Lillard, why wouldnt we try to get a guy from a team asking about Favors? And Booker fits better than Lillard next to Hill, etc

There is absolutely no incentive for Phoenix to trade Booker for that package. Zero.

Hey, take these injury prone players and some last 1st round picks for a 2nd year player that averages 21 ppg please.

^LoPo logic^

They supposedly like Favors, Chandler is old and overpaid and might want to leave. I wouldnt say zero. We would probably have to include Hood.
They would like Favors...to pair with Booker.

Booker isn't worth it currently, but he considered their franchise player. Only time you trade a franchise type player is to rebuild. Favors and non-lottery draft picks isn't a rebuild.

You must agree with me then on the original package, since you're adding Hood. Hood isn't necessarily a throw in player.

I dont think Phoenix would ever talk to the Jazz again without laughing their asses off if we proposed this trade.

It is a bummer we didnt get Booker. Many people here wanted Booker and were bummed we passed on him. Chances are great Booker will be a better player when their careers are over but it way to early to cast off Lyles or call him a bust/bad pick. No team strikes Gobert/Booker gold every draft but I still think Lyles will turn out to be a solid player.

I understand its a stretch, but we should consider this if we are considering Butler, Lillard, George or others. This is as possible.

The metrics aren't even good with Booker. He's Hood on offense with more usage, and worse on defense. Probably projects better on offense long term, but it doesn't make the Jazz better this year.
