So did he regress a lot this year? Or is it that his team performed well and him last year?Lillard single handily put PDX on his back and took them to the playoffs last year.

Aldridge wasnt on the team last year.

I think it's as simple as the players that are around him don't play to his strengths. Portland added a bunch of players that need the ball to be successful.
So, it takes the ball away from Lillard, reducing his effectiveness.
I think if he was on a team like Utah, with a shot at the #2 seed, his defensive effort goes up. And the reality is, we don't need him to be a defensive stopper. Just solid, and we'd be a top 3 NBA team.
I agree and hope for that. Although I dont think it would be worth giving up Hayward to get him. I also would be bummed if we gave up Exum for him but would be reluctantly excited and think its worth it. The sad truth is we have almost no chance at getting Lillard though.
Gasp, what's this? Hayward is now #9 on the MVP ladder? He passed Paul George? Maybe one day he can catch Lillard.
Wait what's that you say? Lillard isn't even in the top 15?! How can this be! green enjoy the light hearted fun this is intended as.

Paul George>>Hayward. Only a biased-*** Jazz fan would say otherwise. If we had George instead of Hayward, our team would have 3 to 6 more wins right now.
