Most satisfying win of the season

Firstly there's the matter that they've basically owned us since Doc Rivers became coach. Eleven and one in our building was the stat that Mike Smith gave - is that correct? Secondly it was a big game played for the rights to the fourth seed in the western conference playoffs. And thirdly, the Clippers are just annoying and dirty. These guys pull out all the stops to secure a win including intimidation and psychological warfare. I don't know, maybe I still haven't forgiven them for that cheap shot Pierce put on Burks last year.

I don't think I've ever seen more clutch threes from the Jazz, Hill, Hayward, Johnson, Ingles and Exum come to mind. Then there's the defensive stops where everybody stepped up. Great win, should give the guys needed confidence down the stretch particularly seeing as Favors wasn't part of the proceedings.

This is the first season we've really been relevant since the first half of the 2010-2011 season and even that year we stopped being competitive and in the playoff picture at the 2/3 mark.

You could argue that last night was the biggest and most important win since Round 1 Game 6 against Denver in 2010

Edit: Although our 6 ish game winning streak to close out the lockout season was pretty cool. Those were some big and exciting games.

The last game against them was probably one of the most embarrassing games I've ever seen. Having said that, I agree. This win was special.

I've also relished the wins over San Antonio, Cleveland and Houston this year.

Point well taken Catch and primacy has a lot to do with anything. Course context is everything and though it's nice to knock off former champions, recent wins in our bid for home court in the playoffs makes those wins most special. Got to admit that win against Houston in Houston was extra special as well.

I agree. For me their recent dominance of us is like that bully you can't seem to prevail over. The fact that we were able to come from behind in the second half and take them down is what made it an extra special win for me. We somehow without Favors were able to take Griffin out of the equation and he killed us last time out.

It's not as meaningful as HOU, SAS and LAC wins but strangely I like the New Orleans road win the most because we really managed to pound them without putting much effort against a side that fought hard the whole game.

Hear what their desperate coach said after the game:

Most satisfying wins for me this year were both wins against Houston. There were good reasons in each of those games for us to get beat and we still won. Right behind that would be the Cavs win. Against the Clips, we caught some breaks and it makes me a bit nervous about facing them in the playoffs.

I was thrilled with the Clippers win. But to me the most satisfying one was beating the Rockets in Houston.
