What happens when Hayward/Hill play well?

Jazz have held Griffin down two games in a row now. That makes me feel pretty good about their chances in a 7 game series.

Yeah, I know. This, a free room, great landscapes, perfect timing with my spring break, wife being off from work...not sure I'll ever get this opportunity again unless we get a nanny.
 
Oh man I didn't know this game was on so early. Pretty glad I didn't have to sit through a loss though I guess.

These salary floor comments crack me up. Sounds like Utah's payroll is really, really low, when the floor is actually 90% of the cap.

Anyway, Utah came out playing just fine after the deadline, and beat a Houston team that got the guy most Jazz fans were bitching about not getting. Making deadline trades is always a gamble because you never know how a team will react when you mess with the chemistry. Just like when you have a good player injured for a while and the team is clicking while he is out, and then takes time to adjust and actually plays worse for a while when they return. It's a gamble and certainly NOT a no brainer that Utah should have made a trade, assuming the right deal was on the table, which of course, none of us really knows.

Anyway, Exum was playing pretty well after the deadline, and Quin's lineup choices seem a little strange right now. Therefore, in order for me to keep my sanity while the team struggles, I'm just going to keep reminding myself that Utah's ideal scenario is to fall to 6th and play the Rockettes in the 1st round. No reason to beat your head against the wall when dropping a couple spots could be a big advantage in getting to the 2nd round.

Getting another bench player would have destroyed our chemistry. Glad we took the prudent, chemistry-oriented, route. It will we pay off once we get the Nobel Prize for chemistry. Right after our first round exit.
