The refs don't miss free throws or turn the ball over. But the bad calls do affect momentum and make guys play less aggressively. That's why it hurts. Can't directly blame a scoring drought on the officials, but the calls and no-calls were horrible during that stretch which helped the Cloppers take advantage.
But of course, another thing that didn't help was defensive breakdowns.

They didn't call 20% of the fouls. They let jordan. Paul and Felton do anything they wanted. Jordan fouled minimum 20 times tonight and somehow played with no foul trouble.
Quin played Favors way to much. Should have gone to withey or Bolomboy. That game was brutal.

clippers had the same game last game and they managed to win. We were ahead all game long but stupidly we went down on a 15-0 run. You cant let this happen in a playoff series especially at home. We deserved the lose. If Griffin is missing next game we have better chance, but overall, i dont think jazz can win the series in this situation.
And one word for Hayward. That 40 pts would have ment so much if he did something at all in the 4th quarter. But he just vanished. Now his 40 pts means nothing to me.
