Hard to believe we win that with Ingles, Favors and even Neto (8 minutes) contributing only 6 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists in their 50 combined minutes. And Diaw didnt even have a rebound....

Ingles didn't contribute many stats this game but he played the Clippers like a genius. Both Joes have. They haven't just taken up residency in the Clippers team and fans heads they are demolishing it. It's brutally surgical.

I just rewatched the game. WOW! It was even better than I initially thought! This might have been one of our very best games under Quin. This game was never really close. Or rather... shouldn't have been. The offense and ball movement were exquisite! We were penetrating and kicking , moving the ball around the perimeter and getting amazing WIDE OPEN shots all night long. If we were hitting them at our regular clip this would have been a blow out. Clippers also got some horrendous calls from the refs on 3 pt shots, BS offensive foul calls, etc... This should have been a 20-25 points blowout. This game WAS NOT CLOSE play-wise. We survived the first Crawford game and now we survived the first Redick game. This team is justifying everything I've been harping on about from pre-season, throughout the season and now - when we are relatively healthy this team is scary good. We can play big and we can play small, we can pass and we can iso, we have multiple ballhandlers and playmakers on the perimeter and we have the best defensive center in the league. Excluding some lapses in concentration/miscommunication the defensive intensity was good and we were guarding them well. I would like to see some more hard hedges and traps on Paul PNRs, but oh well... nothing is perfect. Now lets finish our job at home.

I love this team. People are still sleeping on this team. We are legit good.

I am having trouble enjoying the fruits of our labor because I just can't fathom how rigged the refs are. Seriously, it's making me question my devotion to the NBA. I've never been one to worry too much about the refs but last nights game was unconscionable. Can someone please give me an explanation other than this is rigged by the NBA?

We need to get a series winning game 6 GT up in here!!! Unleash the fury!!!!

After Joe Johnson's dagger.

Probably the most intense emotional and physical reaction that woman on the right has had to anything in quite a long time. You're welcome.

Also yes, we take everything from you. It's so bad you can't even say our name.

Stop looking at the NBA like a competition. It is an entertainment business. It exists to make money by selling entertainment. So, the advertisers who paid for the late night slot want a close game going down the stretch, not a 15 pt blow out with 5 minutes left.

But don't fall off the conspiracy cliff, the league doesn't script everything. Its like a reality TV show, where there is no script but the producers shape and create situations to maximize the drama or highlight a specific storyline in their "reality" show.

Personally, I choose to enjoy it for what it is, and when the producers hand seems to heavy, I turn it off.

What a nice game!

And media here in PHL are taking note!

When I checked local news this afternoon Jazz winning game 5 was one of the lead stories.

Then tonight another local news has a story on Jazz.

Take Note: The Jazz, not the Spurs, are the Warriors’ biggest threats
With the Jazz one win away from advancing in the playoffs, find out why they are the team that could end the Warriors' dominance out west

That double T was a BS suprestar call.Hayward only made a play on the ball. CP3 pushed G20 in the back after the play. It should have been a T for CP3 and nothing for G20. IN this day and age it honestly should have gotten CP3 ejected from the game. If Hood pulled that he would have been ejected, gaurunteed.

"Lesser" players will be called and fined for the push/smack CP3 made while Gordon was walking away.
Not CP3 though

Gordon got red-faced pissed, but he also walked away with the ball....

Loved it.

That double tech was really wtf, that was the worse call ive seen in a long time.

Even with ingles and hill being awful from 3pt land we still as a team shot over 36% on 13 made treys, diaw had a great game, hayward had a great game even being sick, and gobert had 5 steals? Joe johnson had his usual majestic old man play, truoy awe inspiring. He tied hayward for 2nd most rebounds. Favors didnt have much of an impact other than slamming home two great ingles assists

We should have blown them out it felt like a cat keeping alive a heroic mouse for most of the night. We really need ingles and hill to be sharpshooters if were going to make a series with golden state on the road. I think we can count on making it a game in SLC, but on the road is where im worried.

Hood plays his role, he's our kobe. Put up 10 3s, made 4. Doesnt pass the ball much he zeroes in on the basket with his tunnel vision. I think we need one player like that, I wonder how Quin coaches him.

Here's to Ingles and Favors having better games in Game 6!

I for one am pumped to face the Warriors. It is the next lessen that the Jazz need to learn. How to go from great to elite. How to play championship level ball. If the Jazz were to get past GS they have a legit chance to win the title straight up.

Also last night was huge for Hayward IMO. Hayward, Gobert, Favors, Ingles, Hood and Neto are getting massive experience this series. I believe that this being the dog fight it has been is far better for the Jazz's long term growth than a cake walk would be. Growth under pressure. For that I thank the Clips.

#TakeNote

I'm on the clock getting paid for this Jazz analysis so does that make me a professional? I believe so.

Every time I see those stupid T shirts I picture the new Pennywise the Dancing Clown (from Stephen King's IT) wearing a Rudy Gobert jersey.
