Game Thread? Jazz @ Warriors. 2nd Round. 1st Game. (8:30 MT 5/2/17)

Everyone complaining about mack really just needs to shut up. We all know we're going to lose 4-0 or 4-1. It isn't Mack's fault.

I wonder if going big would give us a shot? Gobert and Favors/Bolomboy at the 5 and 4? It might help us to control the paint and boards. It could also screw up our offensive spacing. But I don't think we can stand pat at the 4. We either need to go big and pound the hell out of them inside like what we did in 2007 or combat their stretch 4 with our Lyles (he probably needs some burn this series).

Also, we need to give all of mack's mins to Exum.

I just prefer to lose with exum rather than mack is all.

Exum played pretty well overall, but Quin doesn't trust him running the point apparently. So it's not an either-or decision to play Mack or Exum. At the moment, they play different positions.

We beat the spread I think! (Warriors were favored 13 iirc)

I agree

Whoa blaming the loss on Mack? Does anyone actually think we are going to win this series?

But the question remains, why is he playing ahead of the #5 draft pick from 3 years ago?

I think we have to expect that what we saw tonight is going to be the outcome of multiple games in this series. If the Jazz prepare really well and catch a break, they might win a game or so.

JAZZ SHOULD TANK, WARRIORS ARE TOO GOOD

JAZZ SHOULD'VE MAXED OUT HARRISON BARNES

THESE TWO CONTRADICTORY STATEMENTS PROVE THAT I AM RIGHT 100% OF THE TIME.

It's not his fault for losing the game. The back up minutes aren't really going to make a huge difference. But Exum is playing better and is our future. Mack is not on this team next year. Exum is a better player now and we need to develop him more. There is a decent chance he is our starter next year.

paul george :)

I know there's the risk you throw assets away and he leaves. . . but he'd look pretty damn good in a Jazz jersey right now. Gobert, (healthy) Favors, Hayward, George, Hill with Bolomboy, Diaw, Hood, Jingles and Exum off the bench. Maybe they don't win, but I guarantee they'd put up a helluva fight. Wish they'd gone with Antetokoumnpo. He'd help to counter their length SO much right now.

Reminder: Right now, Quin doesn't trust Exum as PG. Someone has to play that position on the court when Hill is on the bench.

Lol
What a *******

I'm shocked that Lyle's looked more like he did earlier this season. I wonder if he was going through some personal stuff. If he can hit his 3 point shot he would help our team on the court a lot. It is promising for the future.

Same with Hood, no? All of a sudden our young players are the only ones looking good. Kind of weird and unexpected.

We were within 9 points at one point. It's a pity we couldn't get a couple more 3's to go down.

Honestly felt like the Warriors were just taking it easy most of the game. They turned it on when they felt like it and had fun doing so. I don't think we can match up with them.
