I'm not going to do the research for you, and I hope nobody comes in here and copy-&-pastes something that you'll accept as research. You obviously have access to the internet. Use that. If you aren't satisfied, go to a medical library nearby. Check out testimonials about how it feels (it hurts to ride a bicycle with turf toe, btw); and check out all the secondary, tertiary, etc. injuries that can be caused trying to play through it.
The majority of posters on this site have spent hours bitching about Hill -- making an assortment of totally baseless accusations -- and that would have been a more-than-adequate amount of time to inform themselves about what is happening to/in his body. The worst of these accusations have been (1) connecting this injury to some phantom 'injury history', (2) assertions that he's injury prone (while he's dealing with something that is on-going), and (3) that he's intentionally sitting out to protect his ****ing stats. Just the stupidest kind of ****. Pepper these claims with awful Exum Homerism and Mack Hate and you get the general historical picture. Grats JFC.
Every jazz fan should have gratitude for what Hill has fought through and for his contributions this season. He was a key part to very successful program. And you all should want him back (unless the sums become astronomical, of course).
