This guy scored on multiple NBA players in the 2004 Olympics. He averaged 6.8 whole pts his NBA career. Scoring a few times against NBA players in the olympics doesn't tell us much.

I'll maintain my well informed opinions independent over whatever the jazz do. I never liked the Lyles pick over Booker. I wanted kawhi well over Burks. Had the jazz done what I suggested we probably would still be playing right now.

I think I know basketball pretty well and my history shows it. I'll still be a fan of the jazz since they're the team I grew up watching. But that doesn't mean I need to like what they're doing.

Milos better not be Hill's replacement or we will be taking a step backward next year.
 
I guess we'll eventually see just how good Milos is if he signs with an NBA team this summer. I don't think he's meant to be a replacement for George Hill, I see him more as a combo-guard backup. I think that's the way the Jazz see it too. Though from everything David Locke has been saying it certainly looks like the Jazz will try and replace Hill before July 1st, hopefully with one of: Ricky Rubio, Goran Dragic, Eric Bledsoe, Damian Lillard, or Matthew Dellavedova.

As far as a comparable foreign player - I think Milos is a rich man's Jose Calderon. Calderon wasn't a defensive phenom, but he was never in the wrong place, and made all his free throws, hit his opens 3 pointers, and made the right pass at the right time. Milos just does it with style.

At any rate, I'd hate to see Milos murder us while wearing a Spurs jersey. That would be heart breaking. Especially knowing that Quin Snyder had been his coach before, and they had an amicable relationship - it seems like we could have an edge FOR ONCE in getting a sought after free agent.

Thought I heard or read somewhere in the last couple days that Spurs are sending around signals that they're not interested in Teodosic this year. Anyone else hear that?

This was the only story I could find in that regard, but it's dated from February - so it sounds like they weren't interested in adding him for their playoff run. Tony Parker's injury may have changed things.

This article from May indicates that the Spurs are interested.

Even if the Spurs had said they weren't interested - why would we believe they are telling the truth about a foreign free agent - when they are the premiere team in the league at finding talent others have overlooked? Would it not be in their best interest to lie?

I've got to admit my reasons for wanting to see him in a Jazz uni are 100% selfish. I LOVE those beautiful passes, and since I'm going to watch every Jazz game this season anyways - might as well be watching spot on lobs to Gobert, and kick outs to wide open 3 point shooters. (salivating)

There is a rumor here in San Antonio that spurs want Exum. Don't known if it has any legs though. I have not heard anybody locally talking about Milos.

Honestly, biggest debate here right now is if Ginobli is really done or not.

If Hayward leaves, hopefully they can replace him with Paul George, Jimmy Butler, or Maurice Ndour.
 
I'm liking Kalinic. He has game. I think there is untapped market for European role players. Teams usually target the stars and want them to change roles in the league, instead of just pulling the players that are already better in those roles for their teams in Europe. For example Jingles was never a star in Europe. He was a role player and his transition to the league has been great as a role player.
