Cavs vs Warriors Game 2

That possession was more stupid than Seattle throwing the ball on the 1 in the super bowl

Horrible possesion. And I don't even criticize the shot attempt as much as the over dribbling and only leaving 25 seconds on the clock which forced them to have to foul.

Way too long before getting a shot off.

LeBron is a better player than Jordan. Jordan is a better winner. No chance Jordan loses that game. Zero.

Probably a good way to look at it

You can't be serious?

THE NBA HAS ALWAYS BEEN LIKE THIS.
You mean the nba has always had teams win 73 games, go to the finals and lose and then add a top 2 player to their team and then go undefeated through the playoffs with the biggest margin of victories ever?

I must have missed that

The NBA has always been consolidated power of players going to a couple of teams and those teams dominating the NBA for long stretches. Just look at the list of Champions. There are many 8 year periods where only 2 teams win rings.

Yes, the Warriors might be the best version of this, but this model has existed in the NBA since the 60's. It's nothing new, it's just in a shinier package.

The only time period the NBA had any kind of parody was the 70's, and that was when the NBA was it's weakest in terms of popularity.

Since 1996 you are correct. Since Rodman and Kukoc said they would only play for the Bulls.

Free agency and a soft cap has killed the game. There is no wonder why the NFL is king.

What happened in the 60's? 80's? 90's?

You are either young and naive or old and senile.

Everyone needs to stop whining. It was a great game to watch. Korver or Kyrie make one more shot and this series is 2-1. If that happened nobody would be saying anything about parody.

Good response and I agree.

The reason we hate it is due to its extremeness (probably not a word) though.

60's less teams, great management and coaching.

80's still few teams and a few dominated mainly through the draft.

90's first 3 peat MJ, 2nd was super team building.

The Spurs built the right way. Last years Cavs were to a degree. I don't consider the Cavs a destination place, Love a superstar or Kyrie a complete player.

I disagree. Kyrie and lebron play their best at home and win a nail biter?

If that happened then I still figure warriors win 4-1.

And even if this series went 7 games or something that wouldn't mean the nba had parity. How tough of a path was it for the Cavs and warriors to get to this point? Not exactly what I call parody.

They are.
But it's ok to not like that durant went to an already historically great and championship caliber team I think.

It is what it is and we have to deal with it but we don't have to like it and are certainly allowed to bitch about the fact that one team is blowing out the rest of the compitition in the playoffs and finals in nearly every game.

Member when you talked about how great the climax to these playoffs would be?
And how it was ok that the playoffs sucked cause we were going to get a great and competitive finals?

Let me get this straight.

We're all mad because the Warriors drafted Curry at #7, Thompson at #11, and Green at #35?

And on top of it we're mad because they believed in one of their players who was constantly injured and signed him to the biggest bargain in league history?

Then what makes us even more mad is we helped them get Iguodala?

But that's not all, we're mad because they built a winning culture and had enough cap space to sign Durant?

What exactly are we upset about here? Great drafting? Great trades? Great at free agency? 6 teams passed on Curry, 10 on Thompson, and every team passed on Green.

They built their team the right way, fair and square, but we're upset because they're too good?

LMAO.
