I think you are accurate on those charges. So what was the impact of those falsifications, in real terms? Did we give the Russians control of 20% of our Uranium resources? What did he tell the Russians he met, and what did they promise him? What was the deal?
All that would necessarily be discovered in making appropriate charges and arriving at a verdict and a punishment. Lying is bad. Lying to law enforcement is a law written into the police codebooks of offenses. It's always the first thing the cop writes down. I've questioned how laws against lying to the police or law enforcement can stand up to the right to not incriminate yourself. So was there some rationale behind say, a Flynn "lie", like oh a conversation about the Jazz basketball team is not the kind of thing you're required to disclose. If it was a discussion with formulas and equations about our composite aircraft materials essential to evade radar detection, I'd say nail Flynn's hide to the walls of Leavenworth.
oh, wait.... didn't Bill Clinton share a lot of space and computer technology with the Chinese, to help them assume their rightful place in the world as a co-equal in the family of nations? And to help them aim their nukes at us?
Let me make it clear. It just doesn't strike me as "American" to have a partisan media that will bury serious issues about some preferred politicians while grabbing every possible chance to attack another.
Oh, wait. I remember reading in History about the Tammany Hall scandals..... we've been doing this partisan media thing for a helluvalongtime.
Well I think it's fairly obvious that finding the answers to your concerns is why we have the congressional investigations, as well as the fbi's and Muellers investigations.
Consider that Michael Flynn ****ed up right away and was only NSA for a few weeks. He did still manage to put the kibosh on an isis strike using Kurdish troops during the transition. A move favored by Turkey, by whom he had been paid as a foreign agent, and then lied about. Other real life impacts are hard to quantify because he was forced out of his position within a few weeks.
And spare me the "medias not fair" whining. The Benghazi hearings weren't that long ago and that **** was covered for years.
