Following potential 2017 draftees...

If i had to guess, this involves Favors.

Frankly, I would be shocked if the Jazz were not trying to move up into the lottery. With the assets we have it would be a no-brainer. I don't expect the Jazz to be drafting at #24 and #30 come thursday.

Lyles and 24 enough to get into the lottery?

I really don't care what they do, as long as it doesn't involve helping other teams get better by taking on bad contracts.

Spencer Checketts saying that Jazz have had talks about moving into the lottery is like him saying that the sky is blue. I'm sure they've talked about every possibility. If they didn't then they wouldn't be very good at their jobs.

Tru dat... Spence does this every year... this one is pretty tame.

If they did manage to move into the 10-14 range I would be a little nervous though. I see a group of players consistently mocked in that range that are overvalued IMO.

that made me laugh, his bro Marcus was damn good they had Mcfadden, Peyton Hillis and Felix Jones in the same backfield all three NFL runningbacks

Yeah, as soon as I posted I wanted to add "and/or Hood" ... I can totally see it.

Not sure what to think about this. Is trading an established player for a rookie a good sign in what they believe Hayward will do? If he's on the fence, I don't think you can make this kind of move.

If it happens, at the very least I think they know or believe they know what is happening with Hayward.
