Trading Favors is the logical thing to do. Think about it:
- he doesn't fit next to Gobert. .....
With Gobert, a number of different types of guys can fit at PF. .
Wait, so a number of guys can fit next to Rudy at PF. Just not the good 2-way player Favors.
I think Favors is trade bait in the right deal, however, this idea of we need to trade him for who the hell knows what because Lyles or Diaw fit better is nuts. And we aren't getting Porz in any scenario that doesn't include Rudy. Latest report has Phil holding out for both Brooklyn picks, Brown and Crowder. Phil isn't giving him to us just to make your wildest dreams come true.
I should change my avatar from Homer Jazz fan to grumpy jazz fan today.
According to Jody G. Jazz looking to trade for a shooter....so they passed on Booker just so they can trade a bunch of picks to draft Kennard?
They had to have a pg so they got Trey Burke, they had to have a playmaking pf so they got Trey Lyles....Is it just me or do our jazz get locked in on a position at draft time?

Sucks, but i will cheer for him wherever he goes and will be rooting for him. Great dude.
Stopped and signed my son's jersey at the warriors game... he was super excited.
I like the idea of drafting the best player available as opposed to giving up too much in assets. I'm fine with them drafting whomever DL likes but if they give up assets to move up and the player they draft doesn't work... that's what results in lots of losses. Moving up in this draft is going to cost too much and with such a deep draft I would rather take the B.P.A. It's one thing to move up and take someone with a high-probability of being solid ( like when we drafted D-Will) but Kennard has too many question marks. Your position theory is an interesting one though. I never considered it.
