lol.
1. guards will always drive to the hoop. i have yet to see a game where guards don't go to the hoop.
2. Rudy's presence, even if guys are trying to stay out on the perimeter, allows jazz perimeter defenders to play tighter defense, in essence, either forcing contested outside shooting or drives to the hoop.
in short - Rudy can't be neutralized by anything the other team decides to do - he will always have a significant impact on a game.
Is that why the Jazz played so well against the W's? Gobert covered for everyone? When you have a weak link, it gets exploited. If the Jazz are switching everyone and there is a weak defender, that player is going to get scored on...over and over again.
