NAOS prediction: by end of 2017-18, Hood will be finalist for MIP

I guess if Haywards gone, we dont get another player to fill that spot and this team takes a step back where we lean on him more it could happen.

So you're predicting 20+ ppg next season? That's what it'll take

If we, say, go with Beverley at PG and put more playmaking responsibilities on our wings, then Rod could go for 18/6/4 or something like that. Those could build a compelling case for MIP.

Rumor is the Jazz would make Igoudala their "top priority" if they lose Hayward.

Teodosic
Hood
Igoudala
Favors
Gobert

That seems like the likely starting lineup if Hayward and Hill leave.

We ain't getting Iggy... At least I hope not. He is about to decline hard. This seems like they are using us for leverage, so if Hayward leaves we are basically Sacramento I guess.

Should Utah lose All-Star forward Gordon Hayward, who is expected to decline his player option and garner serious attention from the Boston Celtics, Iguodala is believed to be its top priority to fill that void, sources maintain.

If Hayward leaves I hope we try Gallo (unless his contract gets too crazy) but other than that the FA options are awful... just run with the guys we have and take on a bad contract for a pick.

I might also try and get a reclamation project on a 1+1 deal with a team option for the second year... Rudy Gay, Tyreke (though I'm not sure he's a great locker room dude), can't think of many more options there.

Another thing we could do try to engage Detroit or Washington on sign and trades for Porter and KCP... using Hood.

IDK all the non-Hayward options make my weiner soft.

It could happen with Hayseed here, too. Nancy.

I dont see that happening but maybe. He would also have to stay healthy for an entire season for the first time in his career. 15/16 season was okay but he was nicked up for quite awhile, although he played through most of it. It wouldnt be hard for him to improve over his playoff performance that is for sure, I hope he cant play worse than that.

I don't think he's making it up I just don't think it's happening... what kind of contract do you offer a 33 year old wing who started having knee issues end of last year... even though his workload is not that big?

should we define Hayward by his first postseason experience? Just wondering.
