In this day in age the NBA stars are much more willing to go to where the path to a championship is easier. Presti has already said that if Westbrook does not extend, he trading him. Hayward needs to do what is Best for him and his family. It is that simple.

I hope he stays but I will always support him whatever he chooses because he has been nothing but classy.

At the end of the days players are assets that owners can trade anytime they want. I do not blame any player trying to do what is best for them.

If Haywards goal is an NBA championship, he will have an easier time, by far , in the East getting to the Finals. Winning the next few years is an issue.

Neither has Westbrook. These guys have to be smarter. Look at Indiana. Traded PG 3 months earlier and they get a huge haul. But stuberness and stuff...even when the whole world knew LA is in his dreams.
