Our former stopgap PG deserves his current fate tbh

Anyway, now we just need the Lakers to improve enough not to be bottom 5. That pick going to Boston is losing value quickly.

Hill frustrated the heck out of me last year. Remember Jesus Hill? Then no show? Still no hard feelings, I know he's got a bad toe. Wish him all the best in his new endeavor.

Great pickup for the Kings. Someone should bump the thread that was made about my comments for trashing the Hill trade and calling it low reward and high risk. My instant analysis was spot on more than a year later, who'd have thunk??

Vlade's doing good work. Hill will be able to function as a closer for them and a mentor for the 10 youngins they've got;

De'Aaron Fox
Frank Mason
Buddy Hield
Malachai Richardson
Bogdan Bogdanovic
Justin Jackson
Skal Labissiere
Harry Giles
WCS
Georgios Papagiannis

Along with vets Garrett Temple, Kosta Koufos, Zach Randolph they're finally trending in the right direction after 10 straight losing seasons.

Their on track for one more lottery pick and then to start going for it in 2019 (when their first rd pick goes to Philly)

That's if he's not injured.

Gonna book mark this thread for when Hayward says letting Hill go factored into his decision to sign with Boston.

I take no joy in Hill going to Sacramento. Silver lining: had Hill signed, the Jazz would be on the hook for 4 years of 50 games a year at $20M and no Rubio.

He gambled and lost. Good dude though. Hope he has a great 3 seasons.

So he turns down 4yrs 80million for a winning team for 3 yrs 57 million to the worst run team in sports.
Well he's getting $19m/per after being paid $8M last year. So a major pay raise. Oh wait, he could have gotten $20M/per and an extra year? He should fire whoever gave him that bad advice.

Hard to feel bad for a guy that's getting paid $57M!!!
I'm scratching for a living, so I'd be happy with 1/100th of that.

If we lose Hayward, Hill would have been a good option to play the 2 next to Rubio. This Hayward situation just ****ing sucks, no matter how you spin it.
