DL 's first talk after Hayward left

That's gotta be tough to try to keep the conversation classy when I'm sure he wants to scream.
 
What a ***** Hayward is. He doesn't even have the audacity to tell DL himself. It'd be like me having my mother call in sick to work for me.
 
He says there’s no where to run and there’s no where to hide in regards to how good the Western Conference is. He enjoys the process of having to build a team that can compete against the absolute best rather than taking the easy road like a certain former player.

No, I think it's like going to a different employer when your contract is up and texting them you chose the other employer.

I had to have my mother call in for me a few years ago because I had laryngitis and couldn't be heard. Granted, I live with my mom so it made a little bit of sense.
 
I remember somebody arguing with me here over the fact that Hayward drawing out his decision was a ****ty thing to do to whichever team lost out. Apparently, DL didn't appreciate it either. I don't believe for a second that Haywood was still deciding.
 
Stevens has owned Haywards brain since Butler. Gordan will do whatever he tells him is the right thing to do.in Stevens humble hmm opinion.
 
It seemed to me that, based on his farewell epistle, that he still feels guilt for leaving college for the NBA when he did. It's like he believes he owes Brad Stevens a championship to make up for it.

I like Gordon, and I wish him well. I really hope he never wins a championship.

It’s one thing to be passionate but threats are out of line

The fact that Hayward didn’t give DL that respect makes me guess that DL and what he must have said to Hayward to go find a team to give him a RFA contract may be a pretty big reason why he left
