Jazz summer league team is pretty bad. Exum, Mitchell and Bradley are probably the only future NBA rotational guys. Mitchell seemed to be trying too hard. Can't wait to see him after a couple of years in the Jazz player development program. P3, Johnny Bryant, Quin Snyder, etc. he's going to be a monster. Plus, he's likely to get minutes right out of the gate.
Jazz always seem to have problems finding quality guys to play on the SL team outside of their picks.

Bolomboy doesn't look like a future rotation player. Hope Bradley can develop with the Stars.

Draft looks as good as anticipated. Seeing rotation players all the way through, not just the top-10 picks.

Every team has that problem. It's not like there are any non-drafted guys lighting it up on any SL team right now (that I can think of).

Nah bruh, he is better than Exum according to The Thriller

Is Exum a PG? He's looked good driving to the basket in the SL. But he hasn't been asked to run any kind of offense. His handle and off the dribble shot are still questionable. I'm happy for Exum though! We need him more than ever now that Hayward is gone.

But let's not act like I was in left field here. Cmon, be honest. Look at our roster prior to trading for Rubio. We had Exum, Neto, and the Goss. In estimating that Goss was our best PG on our roster, it wasn't a claim that he was very good. It was a claim that our PG situation was really bad. Even after the Rubio signing, do we really feel good about our PG position right now? Rubio, Exum, Neto, and Goss? Really? Can we honestly say it's better than last year when we had Hill?

It sounds to me like a certain blocked poster is trying to get a rise out of me through others when she knows I rarely pay attention to her nonsense (that's why she's blocked).

So ok. You win. Exum looks better than Goss as he's only been asked to put his head down and out-athlete anyone in the SL. Can we really claim that Neto is significantly better? Both Neto and Goss are fringe nba players right now. Both have the ceiling of being perhaps decent backups. Nothing more.

Our problem is shooting. Even Boston had guys who could knock down 3s. Our SL team has struggled to knock down the 3. Without Hayward, I really don't know who can consistently hit the 3 ball with volume. Certainly not hood or Rubio. Jingles is a good 3 pt shooter. But he must be set and he cannot be counted on for volume. Jingles is best driving and dishing.

I'm at summer league this week and was sitting by a high ranking jazz management guy... the team is high on Bolomboy... I think they plan on him being a rotation guy. He told me he'd definitely be on the roster a few years from now.
