So did I. My argument was that since there was a chance he's leaving, it's a good move. Hypothetically, if there's a 30% chance Hayward leaves, then we're trading the pick for 70% of Hayward. There was also a point of disagreement about whether Ball or Fultz was the better prospect.

But that's neither here nor there. The question is, would Boston have traded the pick for Hayward last offseason?

I like our defensive matches again them. I don't like their defense. They may be fun to watch but I don't fear the Lakers. However, I will give Magic his due because I like his moves he made and it won't be long before the Lakers are competing again. I expect them to make a big jump this year. Which will just make me hate the NBA more, I lived in LA years ago and it sucks being a Jazz fan in LA. I never hated the Lakers until I lived in LA.
