No matter the outcome, great rookie effort by elan_prodigy with this comp. Had he replaced Simmons with a real PG who knows what the outcome would be.

I still think the criticism of the Simmons pick is a lil harsh, people out here acting like I drafted LaMelo haha. He was a 10th round pick and I was feeling patriotic, ****, I was going to select Andrew Gaze with my last pick...

In an all-time draft you took a player who hasn't played a single minute in the NBA. I didn't understand your logic then and I still don't now.

Yeah but in this case being patriotic could've cost you a first round exit... to be honest I don't think most people realized Simmons was an Aussie...

I dunno, it's your call at the end of the day.. LOL ...

Edit: Actually I think you could have done better putting Delly's name down. He had actually played in a Championship series and WON.

If I recall, he played Curry as well as anyone on defense

I'm really torn. This is the toughest decision I've ever had to make. I mean, how can I vote against Rudy? But Simmons? What has he done thus far? If I go with Thee, I have to vote for a freakin' commie in Rodman. The guy is BFF's with one of the crazies leaders in the world? And EWing. Just the name describes how I feel about him...eww!

But Rudy freakin' Gobert. But Korver as a starter. I think I'm going to have to talk to my agent, college coach, current boss, best friend and then have a ghostwriter pen my final decision. I'm sure I'll be able to decide by 7/20 at 2:58. Or maybe I'll change my mind a minute later.
Basically both of these teams kind of suck

It doesn't take away from his ability to knock down 3's. He shot 47.2% (5.5 attempts), 49.2% (6 attempts), 45.1% (5.4 attempts) over the past 4 seasons and 48.5% last season at 5.7 attempts.

Point is he is one of the BEST knock down shooters going around and again a perfect fit for my teams style of play.
This is all true. But this is an all time players draft. Korver maybe shouldn't even be drafted much less start.

I mean he isn't even one of the top players at his position most years much less all time.

No ****ing way Delladova should ever be picked in an all time draft. Might as well draft Howard Eisley or something.

Dude's have to at least be starting nba caliber to be drafted in this thing you would think. Smd.

Board has gone nuts overvaluing 3P shooting, especially where there is a big give-up in other areas of the game (defense, for example).

Celtics with McHale/ Parrish, Lakers with Jabbar/ Rambis, Bulls with Rodman/ Longley --- they would have totally sucked. Somehow managed to be elite scoring units despite "spacing"

Korver would be completely exploited at this level of competition to HUGELY offset any shooting advantage he brings to the table.

My understanding was to construct a team of 10 basketball players. Nothing was ever mentioned that it should be based on their best NBA season.

Again, I needed a spot up shooter for the offenese Im running, Korver starts as a match up choice with Thee unable to defend the PnR and the knock down shooting he provides if his defender goes to help. Bosh just seems to be underrated around here.

How come no one considers the bench? Unless its grilling me for Simmons? I have 2x alltime detenders in Michael Cooper and Bobby Jones (who is also my X Factor and arguably greatest 6th man of alltime) to replace Korver and Bosh when needed.

I agree though I don't think it's just this board.
Steph curry changed the way people think about the game. I'm with you in thinking it's gone a bit overboard.

This voting is close like the Jazz v Clippers series... All tied up, heading down to the wire.

PS. You're the Clippers Thee.
