He was healthy last season. They just shut him down to tank.
I don't think u know what shutting someone down means. They rested him due to being cautious because of injury. He even had some injury stints.

He had some minor issues but if they wanted or needed him to play he could have. They wanted to lose games and he was going to win too much for them.I don't think u know what shutting someone down means. They rested him due to being cautious because of injury. He even had some injury stints.
So? Still has to be on the court putting up best center in the league numbers before I state as fact that he is one of the best centers in the league. He was healthy last season. They just shut him down to tank.
Duh. I put his 3.5 blocks in there (an amazing number) and rebounds, and said based off when he was on court last season I would think he will PROBABLY be a top 3 center in the league.Offense isn't the only part of basketball.
He's elite defensively.
I acknowledged that in my post.Embiid's FG% is deceiving because he shoots 3's fish. His TS% was 58.4%.
So when he was on the court doing that it wasn't enough? You want him to do it for an entire season not just half? He put up top center numbers last year. So? Hell, I said I think he will probably be a top 3 center in the league of he is healthy. Just said that stating it as fact before it happens isn't how I'm gonna roll on this one.So when he was on the court doing that it wasn't enough? He's played 36 nba games...Offense isn't the only part of basketball.

No, he got injured. He was healthy last season. They just shut him down to tank.
Availability is the best ability. He played 31 games and missed the the previous two seasons

Embiid looks like he will be fantastic. But he does have flaws. (Low field goal percentage for a big, fouls too much, turns the ball over too much, has health issues, and there is a chance he is kind of a ball hog/chucker) I'm not willing to proclaim him hakeem olijuwan just yet.
