I can't see jazz drafting Biyombo without a big trade already in place. Basically i can't see the jaz drafting Biyombo.

Brandon Knight seems the most logical choice. And we aren't sure Earl Watson will be back next year even if we'd like him to be back.

Bismack we need defense and he is going to be a beast. Then we go SG second pick. I like the PGs but if we are keeping Harris then we don't need to plan for the future at that position right now. If we are planning on trading Harris I say Knight over Walker.

Here's a question: what if Fredette shoots up the draft board after the NBA Draft Combine and individual workouts with teams? Would people then consider taking him with the 6th pick (or whatever it ends up being) if he is available?

I know I wouldn't.

Knight has elite potential

This.

The more video I watch on Knight, and especially the more I read about him, I really want this guy to be the pick. Anybody that has come into contact with the kid raves about him. He's almost like a 1-year Tim Tebow for Kentucky. One of my favorite quotes from Coach Calipari:

“First of all, he is one of the most conscientious, hard-working players I have been around,’’ said Kentucky coach John Calipari, who in recent years has sent point guards Derrick Rose, Tyreke Evans and John Wall to NBA fame and fortune. “Will be in the gym at 11 o’clock at night. Will be in the training room icing his knees or his legs at 6 in the morning.‘’

It should also be noted that the last 3 PG's Calipari has sent to the NBA have been pretty top shelf so far in their young careers. Knight's the guy for me and I don't even see and close 2nd place. I'll probably get flamed for this, but I think this kid has the tools and desire to become a better all-around player than Deron.

Definite star upside in the kid. Something I haven't heard mentioned is his insane change of direction and change of pace/hesitation ability. You can yap about what he doesn't do/hasn't done well (and I have and I'm still not sold), but his ability to break a defense with a small head-fake/crossover at almost stationary to full-speed in the opposite direction (or bringing it back when they bite hard on his move) is great and could be devastating with more work and with a more refined game.

I think you and Cousinsfan2012lolbrb are the only ones that would.

Put this in the what if category. What if Kanter, Biyambo, and Knight are taken 3,4,5. Who would we take then? Not sure we want Kemba. So perhaps Vesely? Insurance if AK is gone. Great athlete. Can play the 3 or 4. Decent shooter. Many believe he might be the most NBA ready guy after the top 2.
