i have a question...Is the current players draft about the way players are playing now or when the current player is at his best?

It's an amalgamation of how you think they will improve this upcoming season and how they would play within w/e team you drafted.

WTF are these trades? There should definitely be rule about not trading a guy or pick you traded for.

Not sure why? When he made the trade for Porter, it was to get Klay Thompson. He clearly took Porter as an upgrade in value over available picks, but wanted to flip him for a (nearly) on the clock pick to do something else. As long as he's not holding things up to do it. . . what's the harm. Kid can hustle. It's entertaining to watch him work his strategy.
