Pelton WL projections

They're going to struggle against mid-tier teams they were comfortably beating last season and going to loose a few more to the dregs of the NBA.

Your grammar in your posts reflect your intellect.

You lose, or for franklin you "loose", credibility.

He figures the Jazz will win 44.7 games, and finish 8th in the conference. That is behind the Wolves, OKC, Clips, and Nugs, but just ahead of the Pelicans and Blazers.

Seems about right to me, maybe a game low. I can see the Jazz winning as many as 50 or 51 on the high end, and I can see them winning as few as 40 or 41 on the low end. So I guess to be right in between the two I'd put it at 45.5 wins, while obviously hoping the Jazz do a bit better than that.

Waah, waah, waah. Cry me a river. Betrayward was very, very good, but not great. Let's look at this position by position:

PG: Better.

Rubio > Hill. For what a point guard is supposed to contribute, ie, floor generalship, he's better.. by quite a bit! Well, what about what Hill did better than Rubio? Score. It won't matter. Hill shot more than Rubio will, and those shots will go to someone who can shoot in better position. And Rubio's shot is getting better.

SG: Better.

I don't care that it was just summer league, Donovan is an upgrade to that position. We didn't loose, er, lose any talent there.

SF: Worse.

But by how much? I'm not talking about the entire value of Betrayward. Yes, he's better than Joe, Joe and Thabo, that's the only amount to consider: the delta between how good JJ and Jingles are and how good Bordo was. The Joes are awesome players (not sure about Thabo). JJ, it could be argued, played better than BooBoo in the playoffs.

PF: Better

Getting Favors back healthy alone is HUUUUUGGGEEE. He had some great games in the playoffs, and has been getting stronger and healthier ever since. Plus it's a contract year. Jerebko's an upgrade to Boris.

Center: Better

Rudy will be better. Count on it. And with all due respect to Withey, whom I liked, Udoh is better.

The only argument that holds water that we'll be worse is that other teams in the Western Conference got better. Agreed. If we stay reasonably healthy however, that more than offsets the gains anyone behind us made, which really only amounts to OKC, Denver and Minnesota (with the Clips -- ahead of us -- getting worse).

No question we make the playoffs. Bet on it.

I like this "that's a stupid bet" line of reasoning. He's watching out for you Wes!

Yep. The usual excuse I hear from some of my buddies is, "Oh, I don't bet," or, "That's stupid."

If it's such a sure thing, why would these people just bet me?

So like most, you're full of ****.

Yup. Like most, I'm not a degenerate sports gambler thumping my chest and pretending I don't lose a lot of money. I don't know if I'm lying to just myself or all my friends, but I do it either way and constantly brag about how good I am.

Are you done thumping your chest? Take the over on a risky bet, billy bad ***.

I love how you have me pegged, dumbass. I do lose a lot of money. I've said so on this board multiple times. That doesn't mean I'm not going to call out a little bitch like you when it's deserved. If you're so confident, put your money where your trolling mouth is.

$1,000.

The wins is based on RPM, but there has been some chemistry upheaval with Hayward and Hill gone. I would lean more toward 40.

Is that your appreciation or there's some reports about the team's chemistry after Haywood's betrayward?

Thump thump internet badass troll.

I guess I should give you props for reversing course and finally admitting it. But, until you can actually refute even one single point I made, you are making a fool of yourself.

You should stop making these bets.

I haven't reversed course at all. And I'm done this convo because you're a ****ing joke.

The jokes on you troll... Take the bet or walk. Nuf said. Put up or shut up, coward.

PS. I have the Jazz over 40. Just the amount of injuries that we have had the last 2 years alone bolsters the team significantly when those guys are healthy. If we even have 2 of the 7 oft injured players back, replacing Hill with Rubio, letting Gobert simmer on Hayward for a year, and add in Mitchell... there is no way we aren't winning 40 games this year.

If I recall, a similar bet was offered to you last year and nothing happened then either. No surprise.
