Following Potential 2018 Draftees

a few potential second rounders to keep your eyes on...

Deng Adel - He has a chance to move into the first round with better 3 pt shooting and foot work. He still seems very mechanical in his movements but has a pretty spin move he just needs to learn to either spin into a fall away jumper or a step to basket. Defense is pretty good too. Should get a lot of personal info since he was teammates with DM for 2 years.

Borisa Simanic - Big euro are always a good bet in the second round especially as draft and stash players. He is a PF but needs to add a lot of strength and weight, because we all know European clubs are known for doing this. He has a decent shot jut not consistent. Great size though

Johnathan Williams (Gonzaga) - Have to put a Bulldog on the list since my 2 players are Tillie and Hachumira and they both will be pushing Williams for minutes. He is a great locker room guy that can play the 4 and has range out to the 3 point line. Sometimes but not very often these soft spoken guys that defer on their college team excel in the pros...oh wait that is football never mind.

Sviatoslav Mykhailuik - 6'8" wing with range and some athleticism what is not to love ... except consistency and a seeming desire. the good news is he is a senior but only 20 years old. Yes he went to Kansas as a 16 year old. He showed in the U19 tournament that he is a better passer then first thought and when he came into college he had played a lot of PG over seas.

Yante Maten - He was talked about some last year and if he was more athletic he would be a lock for the first round but he is vertically challenged but plays decent positional defense. He has some range on his shot for a 4.

This kid is gonna be a superstar. He'll end up the #1 player in the class. Remember who told ya first!

Sparty is going be good this year and a deep run will only push his stock up even higher. Great move by him to come back since MSU is going to be loaded with a great coach.

QUOTE=Crocodile Dante;1467948]Ok I have a few more players I am keeping my eye on for the following season. This is in addition to my boys Killian Tillie and rui hachimura

Miles bridges - I know he is a common pick for the lottery but with the talent he might be there in the back half of the lottery. He is just so explosive and fun to watch. He shoots a respectable amount from 3. With his 7' wing span he might be able to play small ball 4.

Landry Shamet - I know the jazz don't need another PG with Rubio, exum, Mitchell and Neto all pg options but Shamet has an amazing court vision and passing insticts. Not to meant his 44% from 3 on 3 attempts per game. He has shades of curry in the way he plays. (Curry light) 6'4" is nice size but he is not very athletic

Trevon Bluiett - at 6'6" has decent size to play the wing. His shot s compact and quick.

That is why when I say Rui Hachimura play I wanted to be one of the first to mention him just so I can say see I was the first here. Also Killian Tillie. But serious a kid that hasnt even hit high school yet please this thread is for the 2018 prospects not some pedophilia.

Some more Killian Tilley. He's pretty skilled overall and has decent offensive instincts. He shows good shooting touch from 12-feet in, able passing to cutters and willingness to go inside and score at the rim.

Having watched some more of Chemezie Metu in different settings, it looks like his effort level on defense has been uneven. Some of this is AAU stuff, but he doesn't always play hard. Something to keep an eye on next year at USC.

He definitely needs to get stronger and become more fluid inside. He still wants to shoot it inside instead of a finger roll or hook shot

Metu, Kurucs, Hachimura and Tilley could all go in the 12 - 25 range next year. I might be able to talk myself into Robert Williams for the Jazz too. Plenty of interesting forwards for the Jazz to look at.
