Again, I think getting a player who has the most double-doubles in the league for the past 3 years to pair up with Curry/Thompson is pretty damn nice.
He won't be the first or second option and possibly even third.
The Pistons roster isn't that bad. They just underachieved, mainly because of Drummond. They were a great defensive team when he was off the floor.
The Pistons had a better defensive rating w/ Drummond off the floor than the Jazz had w/ Gobert on the floor. Don't tell me how Drummond's teammates held him back from being a good defender.
I think Drummond would put up the same if not better stats if you replaced Jordan with him.
Yeah, but he will make everyone else worse on the court.
CP3 would scream at him for missing rotations and wouldn't play into Drummond's desire to post-up, which would leave Drummond being pissy and trying even less.
Two years ago Drummond was +3.7 on offense and +3.6 on defense for a total of +7.3. There is reason to believe he will improve.
I guess he would have to treat him like he does DeAndre. Constantly telling him what to do.

Opponents ORTG was 108.4 with him off and 104.7 with him on. That means he was +3.7 on defense.

The Finals ended on June 12th.
