What's new

I can't remember the last time I was happy with the NBA Champ.

but I have some hopes this year.
Any of Dallas, Memphis, Chicago, or Atlanta would please me.

I'm enjoying seeing Dallas crush the Lakers on the Lakers home court.

With the field out there now the only teams I absolutely do not want to see win it are Boston, Miami, Lakers, and Bulls. Unfortunately either Boston Miami or the Bulls will be in it from the east so anyone from the west except the lakers, who are getting schooled by Dallas by the way.

I would not be thrilled with that, but it'd be better than Phil Jackson winning.

I looked at the Artest tape again. Maybe he did not have bad intent, and it was just a dumb play. I've seen much worse.

...at this point, it seems hard to imagine the Heat NOT being in the Finals....and even harder to imagine not seeing Wade and Lebron combine for about 40 foul shots per game!

I would love to see an Atlanta/Memphis finals. That would be cool.

I didn't mind seeing Boston win it all in 2008. Not a big Celts fan, but among the final 4 teams that year (Lakers, Spurs, Celtics, Pistons) Boston was easy to route for. Before that, yeah - not too many NBA Champions I was thoroughly enjoyed with.

Save for Heat fans and David Stern nobody wanted them to win anything this year. But now it looks like that worst case scenario is a real possibility. Brace yourself.
I didnt expect the Celtics to wimp out like this. Hoping still that they push it to 7.

Not so fast closet heat fans...They have to take and hold home court advantage vrs the Chicago Jazz..
