Should the Jazz Sign D-Will?

I think the Jazz should develop DM. The Jazz are looking like a low seed and likely first-round exit this season. Developing Donovan should be a priority. That said, I don't think DWill makes us better. Also, didn't he go back to Dallas?

The Warriors did that to 90% of the players in the nba

They beat everyone, sure. And they swept the Jazz. But for the most part, the Jazz are young and their best basketball still lay ahead of them.

There's no need to open a casket before every game and remind everyone (including Williams) of the story arc that led his corpse back to the Viv.

That's not the way ESPN made it sound.

Go check bobby marks twitter or andy Larsen... we don't get a roster spot unless like four dudes miss some amount of games. This thread is pointless unless you think we are cutting two dudes to sign DWill

No, this is what Marks said:
Utah would be eligible to apply for the Disabled Player Exception if Dante Exum is ruled out for the season. The exception would be worth $2.5M and the Jazz would need to clear a roster spot to use. Utah would only be allowed to sign, acquire in a trade or claim a player on the last year of their contract.

If Dante is ruled out for the year, the Jazz get an extra roster spot. Since we are currently at 16 we would technically be using that spot, so like Marks says, we would need to waive someone to add another player.

It says we'd have to clear an open roster spot to use said exception... so cut Bolomboy and oneale to get to 14 and then sign DWill. It is right there.

Only get an extra roster spot if you fall under the NBA hardship exception which requires like 4 guys to be hurt.
