Wecome to Colton's Mock Draft Compilation, v. 3.0. I'll try to update this every few days. Here are who the mock drafts are listing as the "best players". See below for details. It should give a pretty good idea of who will be available when the Jazz pick.

Ranking details: I used the following 16 mock drafts as "voters" for the best players. That is, I assumed they ranked the players in the order that they felt like the players deserved to be drafted. (This is an incorrect assumption, because some mock drafts account for perceived team need, but it should be close.) Then I used the "instant run-off voting" algorithm in a program I wrote to deduce who deserved to be ranked in the top spot, then in the second spot, then in the third spot, and so forth. They better not let him play barefoot! I'm like seeing Leonard projected at 11 though. I would love it if we could snag him with the Jazz pick but I think he moves up.
 
I understand Kemba higher than Jimmer. I don't understand Kemba higher than Brandon Knight.
 
I won't be an advocate for Walker, but I'm a believer. The physical and MENTAL toughness required to pull off what UCONN did this year shouldn't be underestimated. He was the catalyst.

BTW everybody gets shorter when they are measured without their shoes. I'm not sure why all ya'll need to be reminded of this. He's probably just a bit shorter than Stockton... remember that guy? BTW he was also approximately 2" shorter without shoes on.

Depends, Walker would give them a lot more speed and a more explosive team scoring wise. Knight would help them space the floor better and has more upside.
 
If thers a team I see trading there pick, its going to be Sacramento. Maybe move there pick for the Bobcats 2 picks? I just think Jimmer would be the perfect piece next to Evans at the 2. And the more we talk about the draft, the more I get excited for Tuesday! Please be in Favor of the Jazz. It would be so awesome if Utah got the 1st pick with there 12th pick and then the 3rd pick with there 6th. draft, Kanter , Irving. Then move Millsap and the G.S. pick for AI. Then wait tell June 2012 Jazz over the Heat for the Title :)

I would like to see Tyreke's face when Sacramento drafts Jimmer at 5. And I would not want to be anywhere near the freeway 10 minutes later.
 
If I was Sac, I would trade down and take Jimmer over Walker. Jimmer would be a better pairing with Evans. Since Jimmer is a 2 in a 1's body, and Tyreke is a 1 and a 2's, they would compliment each other on the defensive end. Plus, offensively they are highly compatible with Tyreke having the ability to get into the land and score or dish and Jimmer being able to hit a shot from anywhere.

So if you put two scoring guards together this works why?
