I don't know why Bolomboy looked so bad in summer league, but the more I see him play in preseason the more I like him and want him to make the team.
He could dominate in Europe where his lack of quickness wouldn't be an issue.
He rebounds, defends, gives energy. He even had a nice pass to O'Neal on a cut.
Mitchell and Burks combine for 27 pts and 9 assists, 11/20 FG and 4/5 from 3-pts. That's where our bench production is going to have to come from. Jerebko, not so much.
The thing is he looks so smooth when he is being bad. Like if you just watched him do everything but never saw the results of his shot, you'd think he was a decent player.
His feet just don't move very fast. It's holding his game back.
BTW, if Mitchell can put up 15/4 and play good defense, it basically replaces what George Hill gave us after the ASB last year.
