NBA Math rating of each Jazz player

Almost all the Jazz players are too low. I like the system though and think it's a fun way to rank them.

According to this we have Gobert who multiple voters think is not an all-nba player, which means he is going to take a step back from last year according to them. But he at least got a rank of 9 which is okay. Beyond that Rubio is the only player listed as a solid starter. The next two are Favors, Inlges and Hood who are all ranked as low end starters. Ingles had person vote for him as a depth player not even a solid backup. JJ and Sefolosha are our only players listed as solid backups. Beyond that we have 4 depth players, 3 end of bench players and 5 shouldnt get minutes players.

So our depth without names looks like this

All-NBA, End of Bench Player, shouldnt get minutes
Low End starter, Depth Player, shouldnt get minutes
Low End starter, Solid Backup, End of bench player
Low End starter, Solid Backup, End of bench player
High end Starter, End of Bench Player

That sounds like a team that wont be close to the playoffs. 1 great player, 1 decent starters and 3 low end starters with meh bench.

Looking at other teams though I guess this doesnt look as bad.

it sounds about right though... Unless DM takes an even bigger step than even the major homers are guessing, We're still likely a -- scrape into the end of the playoff brackets -- sort of team this year

Most teams don't have a 9 though. Gobert tilts the odds in our favor to make the playoffs.
