What's new

I feel awful for hayward....that leg break...

Brad Stevens just said he broke his tibia and fractured his ankle. I got hit by a car on June 3rd and I broke my ankle and my tibia and I'm just barely walking. It's gonna be a long hard grind for Gordon to get back to playing. He is facing a lot of physical therapy, I pitty the guy.

Dislocated ankle and a break/fracture above it? I thought it looked dislocated. Horrible.. Even if its next season I hope he comes back 100% and gets more years at the level of play he was at.

He does have the best medical care money can buy though. What do you think is the timeframe for recovery?

Man hayward didnt do the jazz that bad, the only thing that made me upset was that pic of haywards daughter with a clover leaf and they were like it was on the clearance rack it doesnt mean anything lol that was a straight lie, that's social media marketing so I understand but some of u asses would have done much much worse than hayward who is and always has been a class act.

Him wanting his article being the revelation is understandable. I didnt like that he left, but there are more important things in life than playing with a ball

I told my gf I hoped he got injured this year last night completely tongue-in-cheek (I have a dark sense of humor) and now I feel absolutely terrible. I wouldn't wish that on anyone, really. I hope it's not too bad. Dude had to get flighted to another hospital.

I know it is a freak accident and all that, but I wonder if this will make Hayward pause and think a bit more about being grateful for what he's been given, i.e., how good he had it when he was with the Jazz and how our team, the owner, the fans, etc, have embraced him.

He's now in a new team, a new conference, a new set of expectations from fans that may or may not embrace him the way we did him. Add to that, now he'll have to fight through this his first major injury since he has entered the NBA.

He probably doesn't believe in Karma, but I wonder if it makes him pause for a bit and think about what he had done.

I hope he recovers. If anything just to see the Jazz beat him. The competition in me I guess. Seeing him in pain, although no longer on the Jazz was like a punch to the gut. Here is a guy who we grew to love and then learned to hate. Yet no one should ever want to see anyone go through something like that. Losing on the court is one thing. Struggling in a bigger market is another. But this? This put a knot in my stomach and made me remember the player I grew to love....

Brad Stevens in his brief post-game interview said he was informed that Hayward had a tibia fracture and dislocated ankle. Not sure if it's also a broken ankle

Maybe prayer works. I need to now switch it up and start praying for a Jazz championship.

How the **** is this karma... karma would be him playing poorly or even playing well but then being traded for Anthony Davis. This sucks and makes me feel like a petty person for my negativity. Don't make us look like assholes - we got burned in FA, but it's just a game. This just sucks

I came here hoping to see this place absolutely exploding. You've all let me down.

Man a large number of you people make me sad to be a Jazz fan... give me a break

Me too man, im a jazzman because of class acts like john stockton, not many of us native texans are jazz fans, especially growing up during the bulls dynasty whats the odds? jazz fans are a rare breed to me I dont even personally know any others outside of you guys, ive never even been to utah, it was the class and unselfish mentality that attracted me

To watch the games I have to shell out $200 each season it adds up
