I know it is a freak accident and all that, but I wonder if this will make Hayward pause and think a bit more about being grateful for what he's been given, i.e., how good he had it when he was with the Jazz and how our team, the owner, the fans, etc, have embraced him.
He's now in a new team, a new conference, a new set of expectations from fans that may or may not embrace him the way we did him. Add to that, now he'll have to fight through this his first major injury since he has entered the NBA.
He probably doesn't believe in Karma, but I wonder if it makes him pause for a bit and think about what he had done.
