Hood has been trying really hard to do this, and that is why his game sucks. Trying to become Hayward has thrown him out of his comfort zone and his point production has suffered for it.

He's so bad at driving.

Hood is playing the way Hood plays. The Jazz arent trying to turn him into Hayward. Every interview with Quin he talks about wanting his guys to shoot more 3's.

He hss always taken a lot of paint, non-restricted shots, more than Hayward even.

I looked up the stats. Williams peak was better than Hood's in just about every category. That said, their numbers are pretty similar.
