What's new

Saw this elsewhere. Think Betrayward knew he was leaving?

Ehh, could just mean he was going to upgrade his house if he stayed in Utah. He was going to more than double his annual salary.

there was a really small tid bit in february, 1 week prior to the all star game. Everybody seemed to miss that subtle but major hint that somebody left(cant remember who)

it said that as soon as hayward got the all star nod the first person he went and spoke to was BRAD STEVENS.

im telling you there was major collusion behind closed doors. Haywards entire charade of ******** in the off-season was all bull.

he knew he was going to play for stevens prior to the end of last season.

Haywho?

Is this still a thing?

I thought he was Lameward now, literally and figuratively.

Completely agree. Plain as day he knew for a very long time which is fine, but all the BS he put the Jazz through (and Miami) is why i have no respect for him.

Locke mentioned that he was told during the season last year by another team exec that Hay was going to Boston. He did not say who told him but I am in the camp that he knew all along and felt he needed to make it look good. He had every right to leave which I wish was not the case but I get it and it is the way the game works. However, doing it the way he did buried the team that make him what he was. The way Paul George did it was painful but had integrity.

Hayward is present at the Celtics game tonight. I'm here, too, so I booed him quietly. You're all welcome.

You sir are a hero!

Also, I would still not like him if he left but I wouldn't hate him had he just been straight up with Jazz management.

When the season ends just tell them you are leaning strongly towards leaving and don't make moves with him in mind. I do not think we have traded for Rubio had we known... I'd rather have that pick and the cap space right now... we may have gone and got a stop gap option but I think Exum would have been tagged as the starter.

Knowing a year ago would have been nice but not sure what we would have gotten for the guy and it was a fun season and playoff run... not sure we would have moved him.
