What's new

Bullets @ Jazz 7:00 MST 12/4/2017

Carbon13: this offense is totally different with hayward
Saint: at least he doesnt lick his lips constantly anymore
Carbon13: our deliberate pace had as much to do with hayward as it did running two bigs
Saint: ehh, I dont think that is entirely true
Carbon13: that said i wish we had hayward still
Saint: I think the injuries last year caused it and not having as many good offensive players
Carbon13: yeah it probably has more to do with two bigs
Saint: and jazz had guys like Diaw
sahlensguy: Hay was a stick in the mud. No fun.
Saint: who was a complete non-scorer
fallenchicken: i don't think hay was a stick in the mud
Carbon13: i feel like some of our guys do a bit better job turning the corner this year than hayward did last year
Saint: Think the Jazz just have more high energy guys this year
sahlensguy: Too serious.
fallenchicken: but we just improved our team in every other way, guys got healthy, and mitchell
fallenchicken: that's the difference
Carbon13: hayward used a lot of moves to get space and step backs and what not
Carbon13: i dunno but i like what were doing this year
fallenchicken: yeah i think we might be better
fallenchicken: i mean it could just be a stretch we will see
Carbon13: i dont think were better
Carbon13: we would be better with hayward but at least we have a different time line to work with now
sahlensguy: I think we're better too and we're far from our potential.
Carbon13: clearly build around donovan too
sahlensguy: We've barely figured out what to do with Rudyard in these lineups
Carbon13: i just trust lindseys drafting
fallenchicken: this team at least right now feels more complete and together than we ever did last year
fallenchicken: it could just be the right guys got health
fallenchicken: healthy*
Carbon13: i think as long as we can continue to draft well and find guys, we will be alright
fallenchicken: and we upgraded a lot of roster spots
dong2ha: hope we make another trade to get a player like mitchell this summer
dong2ha: will be hard but who knows

fallenchicken: hope we thrash okc tomorrow
fallenchicken: six straight baby
sahlensguy: Another player like Mitchell? ?? They don't exactly grow on trees
fallenchicken: lindsay is cloning mitchell
Carbon13: i heard a rumor that lindsey wanted antetokounmpo at 9 but got overruled. anyone else hear that?
fallenchicken: double trouble
sahlensguy: B2b but rested
fallenchicken: i don't like to think about how we didn't take antetokounmpo
fallenchicken: but i'm sure every fanbase feels that way

Great game from pretty much the whole team. just want to give a shout out to O'neal. I think he finished with 11pts, 7rebounds and 6 assists in 24 minutes. He seems to play well when called upon. When you think of this team the depth is the difference. The Jazz still have JJ, Exum and Hood out. It was nice to see Rudy play. I thought he did ok not playing for weeks. His defensive is always there but it is going to take some time to incorporate him into the offense.

Donovan had another great game. AB is finally getting it. He took over and starts to make me think that maybe the Jazz can package a couple of guys to get a pick and loosen up the roster a bit. I don't know how Quinn is going to manage the roster once JJ and Hood comes back.

I wonder what would happen if Delonte West tried to give Mitchell a wet willy. #blackeye

Pretty sure when the thought went through his brain delonte would look at DMs smile and think... wtf am I doing with my life? I need to get back on my mess and straighten my life out. West would have gone on to have a long career and start many not for profits benefiting those that struggle with bipolar disorder. Effing Hayward really missed an opportunity.

So apparently the 2nd row is really the 5th row but they were awesome seats none the less. One thing that jumped out at me right away is that Snyder is scarier looking from 10 feet away than he is on TV... by far! He looked like he was just going to burst at any second the entire game. I have some other thoughts but I have to get up at 5:00 so I will compile them tomorrow.

Didn’t get a chance to watch the game, but the box score sure reminds me of the 2nd half of the 2014/15 season.

How much did Gobert and Favors okay together, and was Rubio our there at the same time? I’m hoping to see a LOT of Gobert, Favors, Jingles, Hood/Burks and Mitchell running point.
