What's new

US Moving Embassy

You've already said that you don't care about people in other countries.

I gave you a reason and you chose to ignore it. Another reason is that it's a step towards conflict resolution. The status quo isn't working and things need to move forward at some point. Another reason is that we have a diplomatic presence there for Palestinian relations (The US Consulate General in Jerusalem). Recognizing Palestine but not our strongest ally in the region makes no sense. This is also a show of strength and a statement that we back Israel's claim to Jerusalem. That's important, unless you're an appeaser.

Your sensationalized armchair tale of Arabs and Muslim nations all becoming irrational over this is not the self-evident fact you believe and portray. It's also degrading to those peoples and continues to deepen this condescending view that they will react irrationally. Saudi Arabia, for example since you mentioned them, is our ally and this embassy isn't coming close to changing that. They don't need to publicly kiss Israel's finger ring. The royal family isn't going to change their tone based on a symbolic embassy move. Arabs and Muslims are people too and they will think things through.

You didn't give me squat originally.

How do you feel this aids the Israeli/Palestinian peace attempts?

Yup, looks like it is going swell.

But hey, that's enough with trying to change the discussion.

This doesn't help us and you have yet to spin a yarn about how it will. That is what this post was about.

How does a move towards solidifying a stance in this decades long tension not help? It has to happen sooner or later. Are you pretending everyone will simply chill out and hug after some time? One will own the place and the other won't. I also don't care about your Jordanian protest article; that battle was settled 50 years ago and it's not going to change. Let them protest, it's not changing.

Trump is attempting to open the door for diplomatic relations between Palestine and Israel, and peace. The 2 presidents before Obama did jack squat other than further demonize the Palestinians while using Jews for advantage by putting them on the poor them pedestal that we all were ingrained with during childhood WWII education. Obama couldn't do a damn thing about this because "YOU'RE A MUSLIM", so he went along with the status quo to appease us all instead of doing what he initially wanted by giving the West Bank back and starting peace negotiations.

Trump is taking a different route.

So nothing other then "at least it is different".

Same response I gave Dutch, good for them but I don't care. About any of them in any real way. I asked how this helps the U.S. and you could not give me a reason. I genuinely wanted to know. And all I have gotten back is deflection to muslims and jews. How trump gave the speech is irrelevant. How does this help the U.S.? Period, that's it.

Thanks for nothing lol.

how about it shows the united nations that they ar enot the arbitars of truth.
as unesco is refering falsy in educational books and all material that jeruzalem belongs to muslim and islams. dneyonig any ties of israel and jews to jeruzalem, maybe except the west wall. which is litterllay just the western wall of our temple! that was theirr 1000's of years before this faux al asqa msque was build
and the 6 recent anti israel resolution!

the pursuit of truth is what you gain from it! if you do not think the truth is a goal in itself, that is ok!
btw i respect your isolasionist view.

This doesn't bring Palestine to the table or make peace any more of a viable option. I don't care what Bush and Obama did this isn't about them. It is clear that the current President is taking a different route but that doesn't mean it is the right one.

But OK, have fun looking for positives for the U.S.

You're not paying attention to anything I've said. You're holding a stubborn position. Trump changed the status quo that wasn't working. You want to keep the status quo that wasn't working.

I get that. But I have yet to see any convincing argument to show that this helps the US. Changing the status quo is not necessarily good. This is great for Israel but it does not help any of our stated goals. Changing the status quo doesn't help that IMO.

Jerusalem was the original prayer direction before Mecca to Muslims. How is it not holy to Muslims again? I think this is an empty suggestion.

Then again, I don’t care one bit who holds what holy land. There is no such thing as a holy land to me. Just holy beliefs, ideals.
i am not allowed to discus the truth, anymore i got banned for stating facts. so yeah. have fun living in your echo chamber

ooh relly suddenly the place and only place on earth where jews cna built a temple(not to be confused with synagoge) just happens to be 1000's years later is the exact same place that is holy to islam? gtfo islamism is all about domination, rule the world, take over a territory and make the holy/important places your own by building a mosque!

IT IS WHAT THEY DO!!!!!!!!!!!! recewntly they just did it in then hague, they are all doing it over europe searching for buildings on the market that have been churches and synagoges! they ar elike dogs pissing on trees!

this message had 0 swear words, and only facts! now it is heavily edited by the mods. so yeah, i cannot state the truth anymore

Keep spinning your narrative. I fully stand behind the infractions and bans you have received. If you continue to post as you have been it will not be long before you are serving another ban.

That is not a threat but a heads up. How you chose to proceed is on you and only you.

yes i will abide by the rules.

i stated nothing but truth. truth that you can easily retrace, maybe i should not have made the comment about dogs. maybe that is offensive it was not meant as offensive but just as the similarity between them marking territory, and all men and tribes mark territory different ways. i could go on and proof truth with different articles and passages in Koran and science and history of middle east. while unesco is trying to rewrite history

but lets leave it be, and remain jazzfriends. also on a related note where can i see my warnings and infractions. i am getting old and less tech savy cannot seem to find it
