I remember having two followers. I think.

Archie has 12 followers.

EDIT:

Do none of you save videos or highlight anything?
Not that I really care, but I'm kind of interested in how you found my twitch, especially since I recently changed my handle on it. I may have mentioned it on here and forgot, but still curious.

My steam name is Gameface. I'm like a steam OG that's how I got it without any funny spelling or any other modifications.
I'm going to add you as a steam friend. It's always nice to be associated with an OG.

Looked at SafetyDan's follower list and deduced from there since you said you just followed him. Newest followers top the list and you've gone by that username here, or at least some version of it.

And this isn't the place where I'm all that interested in advertising my stream, but I shouldn't be too hard to find on Twitch.

Got a Switch. This is officially my favorite game of all time. Just beat it a couple days ago. Just can't get over how good it was/is.

Net up for me is Mario Odyssey.

I have a switch and enjoy it. I like Zelda on it, but for whatever reason, it doesn't speak to me. I know and understand why it's considered one of the greats. It will be interesting to see what wins game of the year.

I wish I had more time and a switch to play just this game. ****, I hate Nintendo and their amazing games.

PS4 gamer tag is Stoked1206

So far I have only been playing Battlefront II on there.

Howdy, all. It's been quite a while since I've posted (I just checked, my last post was more than a year and a half ago). But I wanted to come on here and promote one upcoming game that really deserves some promotion.

That game is Monster Hunter World. It's coming to PS4 and XB1 on January 26th (and for the PC somewhat later), and a PS4-exclusive "Beta"/Demo will be available starting Saturday, December 9th.

I could say a lot about the game and about the series, but I'll keep it short. What you should know is that with the exception of From Software's "Soulsborne" games, Monster Hunter is my favorite series of games of the past ten years, and I've sunk between 200-500 hours of time into each of the five entries that I've owned. The linkage with Dark Souls isn't pure coincidence, either. Fans of one tend to become fans of the other when they decide to take the plunge:

http://www.kotaku.co.uk/2015/04/15/how-dark-souls-finally-made-me-understand-monster-hunter-2

While the two series are hardly exactly alike, they both feature incredibly deep, deliberately paced combat. The Soulsborne games are primarily single-player games with a big open world to explore; Monster Hunter is a cooperative series of games (up to four players) that might as well be called Boss Fight: The Game, shunning the traditional idea of giving you hordes of minions to work through prior to a boss fight in favor of just giving you awesome boss monsters to fight over and over as the core of the game. It's brilliant.

The problem for Monster Hunter games in the USA has been that they've primarily been developed for handheld systems like the 3DS, which are wildly popular in Japan, but not so much here (in 2013, Monster Hunter 4 was the 2nd-best selling game in Japan behind Pokemon X/Y; in 2015, Monster Hunter X was the best-selling game in Japan, period). With Monster Hunter World, Capcom is changing all that. They're developing it for home consoles that Americans actually own, and making a serious effort to break into the American market. I can only hope they succeed; it's the best series of games that no one in the US seems to know about.

The good news is that the Beta/Demo for PS4 running from December 9th to December 13th is free for everyone. If you happen to own a PS4, I strongly recommend penciling in those dates and giving it a shot no matter what your gaming tastes happen to be, but especially if you're a fan of Dark Souls. The worst that can happen is that it won't be your cup of tea, while the best case is that it might just become your new favorite game. I'll leave some videos below for you to check out; if desired, there is plenty of other coverage out there for you to Google, as Capcom has been promoting the hell out of this one and doing lots of preview events for press and streamers.

The best advice I can give for a newcomer trying the demo is test every one of the 14 available weapons; they are so different that each one almost feels like you're playing an entirely different game. That's where a lot of the depth comes from. Anyway, hopefully you'll enjoy the game. In my case, this thing is practically a mortal lock for my 2018 game of the year, and probably for my top ten games of all time. Monster Hunter really is that good. If you're a gamer who's never tried the series before, don't miss giving it shot.

I thought it would be a good time to post a final reminder about Monster Hunter World before its release next Friday (the 26th), because the final free beta/demo for the game on PS4 is available to download now, and will be live tomorrow through Sunday. Clearing each of the beta's four quests (the fourth one is new) will get you some free items for the full game. Anyway, it's your last and best chance to check out the gameplay for free. I really can't recommend this one enough. It's gonna be awesome. When it's released, I doubt I'll play much else for at least a month, if not longer.

Welcome to Jazzfanz.

Nice to have another member of the PC gaming master race on the forum!

Can't stop playing Witcher 3. I just want it to end so I can continue my life as I used to. It's been around 150 hours, total.

Any Overwatch players here? Thats my ****. I'm actually convinced that game is easily one of the best ever made, if not the all time greatest.. I'm not a FPS player at all, but this has converted me, it's got all sorts of elements from games I like.

It's gloriously all bite and no bark... Theres no grinding, all skill baby..

Moira, Reinhardt, Winston, Zenyatta, Bastion, Torbjorn and Symmetra my mains but I'm truly a flex. I'm a monster on Mercy too, thats how I achieved my peak SR. Moira is my main for now tho, I drop insane stats regularly, she's over-tuned/unbalanced...

Been meaning to play thru Persona 5 cuz i love that sort of battle-system and it's got insane reviews and looks beautiful. i ususally just play a match or two of competitive OW tho when I wanna game.
