San Antonio Spurs @ Utah Jazz - Mon. Feb 12th 7pm MST

This is a trap game for sure. Without LMA, Utah should blow this team out.

I always worry when Utah should have an easy win.

Tonight will be a b2b coming off a big win, but at least their next game is Wednesday hosting the Suns. So they won't be overlooking the Spurs for that one. I do expect Crowder to come back down to earth a bit and not play like he's been here all season long. But we shouldn't miss Ricky in this one like we were supposed to against Portland.

Trouble with that is people use no objective criteria -- it's all a popularity contest. Why do we have engage in a competition. Aren't we here simply to exchange opinions. That's how we learn. When we make it a competition it defeats the purpose of learning and exchanging information, and also create animosity.

You seem to think the only reason people disagree with you is because they don't like you. Maybe one or two are that way, but it's really just because you say dumb **** a lot.

For example? Dumb to say way back that Rubio is not the answer going forward, or that Donovan will challenge for ROY -- actually other people were saying that too. I just argue strongly for my POV -- if that's dumb to do that, then that's your opinion.

I sort of hate when the Jazz play a team that's short handed. They usually play with more energy and they are harder to scout which is what Quin's staff seems to be pretty good at.

Let's get it!

This game won't be easy. Even with Aldridge out the spurs are the spurs and you know they want revenge for us trashing them without mitchell on their home court. Still, HUGGE GAAME. I'm so excited. In the regular season when is the last time I've been this pumped? 10 games lets goooooooo

A good chess match tonight. Mitchell got caught by Portlands double team trap, and learned how to beat it on the fly. Surely Pops has seen it and will make is own adjustments.

Remember that game when the Clippers were shorthanded and Jamal Crawford beat us almost single-handedly.

The one thing I hope is I think this team really has something to prove, and if they win tonight it is very likely they walk into the all star break with an 11 game streak and probably a favorite to make the post season. I think they are going to come out and play hard tonight.

But the Spurs are always good. And we're coming off a back to back huge win, with no Rubio. This game isn't a trap game--we are playing the Spurs, lol. No trap about that. We're going to have to play really well to win.

BUT THE STREAK MUST LIVE

It's the Spurs, I don't give a damn which players play, but if Pop is on that sideline I'm not looking past them.

The friggin UPTIMISM is a near-all-time high, mother ****ers

But if you have a stupid opinion, how do you learn if nobody tells you it's stupid? This is how the universe works. And then sometimes people hold on to stupid opinions, and refuse to learn. This is why the universe created the neg. When people are stupid and refuse not to be stupid, the neg is kind of like an exclamation point to help you understand that you really are being stupid, and it's time to stop.

Everything has a purpose, and the neg is crucial to helping stupid people learn not to be stupid.
LOL. This is a great little description, honestly. I know negging caused a lot of bickering, but it was actually pretty useful to lurkers and, I think, to protect the rest of the board from the bad opinions of neg-worthy folk.
