Is Chris Singleton a top ten pick come draft night?

He's a lottery pick. Not everyone agrees, but enough teams in the lottery like him that I think he goes there. Bobcats, Bucks, Jazz and Rockets all fans.

I am not seen any reports on who the Bobcats like in the draft, they are a mystery, the Bucks really like Alec Burks and Jimmer Fredette, and lastly the Rockets pick #14 is after the Jazz #12 pick so all in all I think/hope Chris Singleton will be there at #12.
 
This is both a very good thing and a bad thing. Now I have faith that KOC might pick him, however I dont want his stock to continue into the top ten. We seriously could use Singleton on this team, I really hope he is available at #12 and KOC seizes the opportunity.
 
I like Singleton. I like a lot of the wings in this draft, but I get the sneaking suspicion that Jimmy Butler might be better than all of them when you consider the entire game and winning.

But yeah, I like Singleton. Another Luc Richard Mbah a Moute?
 
I know how many people really despise AK, but I don't really see how Singleton is much different than AK... He's not a great shooter, not a great ball handler, very good defender and he's athletic. If the Jazz can resign AK for the MLE he'd be a better option, in my opinion.
 
Singleton is stronger and tougher than AK. Heck my Golden Retriever is too but I definitely would take Singleton at 12. He one of the sleepers in this draft.

I think for a lot of people and definitely for me, the problem with AK stem from his age, his injury concerns, the money he's made, and his general attitude about the game. With Chris Singleton, you don't know what you're getting exactly (he could bust), but at least you might get something like AK without all of the headache.
 
For someone that was suppose to be all defense and little offense, I was quite happy to see how he shot at the combine. I would definitely take him at 12.

56% College Spot-up 3s, 52% NBA Spot-up 3s , 55.56% 15-18 feet Off-Dribble, 69.23% Timed 15-18 feet on Move and averaged 58.20% over-all. Yes I know it was shooting against a man standing stationary with his hands up and sometimes against air, but this shooting performance put me firmly on-board with Singleton at 12.
 
Singleton does not have a giant World of Warcraft tatoo on his back and he looks like he actually likes basketball.

I've read alot of people saying good things about Butler, I know nothing about him. Do you know why he is praised but also projected as the 13th pick in the Second round?

Ironically the 13th pick in the 2nd round is the Jazz pick traded to the Bulls
 
I would really like to see Utah take a pg with the 3rd pick, then use the 12th pick on Singleton, while resigning AK.

Knight would make a perfect backup pg for the next 2 years and might get a lot of playing time.( I'm sure Harris will miss 10-15 games next year) I'd also like to see Hayward once or twice play alittle pg.

With Ak starting at the 3, with Singleton developing under him for the next 2 or so years.

Jazz Start Millsap and have Favors come off the bench, resign Fez . Id do all this so that Utahs starting 5 will be some series ballers, while we work on the future 5 developing the most important team chemistry.

Knight, Hayward, Singleton, Favors, Fez. Just think how good that lineup could be in 2 years, If Utah lets there 2nd string play 18-25 minutes agame!

Count me among the very few that really like AK. I think he is amazing and I would love to have him back on a very good contract say 3 years 15 million or 5 million per year. I would do that regardless of who we draft. Of course I am not the Hayward sycophant everyone else is.

You know if we traded down to get Knight at the 5 and got another pick out of the trade I was right there with you on this until you put Fez in there. That shot the whole thing down for me.
 
It's official. If we draft Kanter and Singleton we might as well look for white college players in every years draft.

Fez if signed for 2 million a year for 3 or 4 years could be a steal and it's always nice to have a true 7ftr on the bench. And how can you not like big Fez's, one handed Hammer of a dunk. And in that line up of Knight, Hayward, Singleton, Favors, & Fez. We don't want Singleton / Fez to score, we just want them play some D and clog the paint. Knight, Hayward, Favors will handle all the scoring!
