Sorry, these guys don't play here any more (duh), but I can't resist.

Here is how our former Jazz players can improve for next season:

Boozer:

They have to trust that he will get healthy and bounce back and be the player they want him to be. That will be a tough sell to a Chicago fan base that has already started to turn on him.

Brewer:

If he works on his jumper all summer and comes back with more range there is a good chance he will be the Bulls starting two guard next season.

Korver:

All he can do is try to get better on the defensive end and work even harder on his shot.

Boozer is going to "get healthy". Brewer is going to "come back with more range". Korver is going to "get better on the defensive end". Uh, yeah. We really are the backwater of the NBA.

I promise not to make any more threads about Bulls players.

Almost comical to read those conclusions. That could have been written two years ago when they played for us.

Yeah, at their mid-20's and early 30's, these guys are going to suddenly change who they've been their entire careers. It makes it even more likely considering that all of their problems stem from the bodies they've been given and hardly anything else (Brewer's shot is irreparable unless he wants to learn to shoot with his left [he should've tried that 15 years ago]).

While not having an identity or a clear direction isn't exactly reassuring or fun, at least we don't have to worry about this crap anymore.

Yeah, Brewer has been working on that shot for years. This is as good as it gets. Korver's not suddenly going to become a defensive monster. They're stuck with Boozer's contract now. Boozer pretty much Kirilenkoed them.

Korver gets a C? Really, what did they expect?

He shot 42% from 3 on almost 300 attempts.

There are about a half-dozen guys in the NBA that shot that percentage or better with that many attempts.

Yeah, he's not a great man defender but he's a good team defender and the effort is always there.
