KOC Interview

You may be correct but that is an amazing leap from what he said.

He said if Jimmer is the best player available they will take him. Which is a cop out but Kevin is also suggesting that its in terms of possiblity so drafting Jimmer at 12 wouldnt be a suprise and Jimmer has value at that pick.

The question is who does Kevin have above Jimmer that could fall to 12? My guess is Biyombo, Leonard or one of the euros would be that player. Though I dont think Kevin will draft a euro that has contract issues since the Jazz need help asap.

I seriously doubt that was KOC. I did not see a "you know" or a "It is what it is" quoted throughout that entire interview.

To move up from the 5 to the 3 would probably require a mid first round pick, in my opinion.

So in the end it probably isn't worth it to us right?

Someone needs to overpay for us to give up our asset. A midround first isn't good enough for me to end up with Knight over Kanter.

Very unlikely that #3 moves, IMO. Now #12 very well might get traded, if a trade would get us a veteran in return. We added 3 rookies last year; that's ALREADY a lot of youth. Adding 2 more this year would make almost HALF our roster rookies or 1-year players...

There is a 10 minute Q&A session with KOC from the Sunday workout on 1320 Kfan. It is difficult to hear some of the questions but it has some good stuff.

Maybe the Cavs trade their #4 in this draft for Utah's #12 and '12 GSW pick?
Utah gets #3 and #4 and takes Knight and Kanter. Boo yah!
