Following Potential 2018 Draftees

This is actually a good interview for Mitchell Robinson, by his standards. He seems to have a decent workout routine going. Givony compares Robinson's workout to Willie Cauley Stein.

He's not an idiot. can you cite the source of whatever makes u think he's gonna interview poorly? I betcha I'm gonna disagree.

What do you think happened there at WKU.... U think its on him? I guaran-damn-tee thats related to adults doing stupid **** and making promises they couldn't fulfill, not him letting up his end of the bargain...

More specifically; What do you know about Rick Stansburry and Mitchell's godfather Shammond Williams?

Stories like this are why I pay attention to this stuff so closely, on pretty much a daily basis. These sort of media shock-value narratives that form get attatched to kids names and it's unwarranted.

He's not Robert Upshaw...

I'll say it one more time, it's worth repeating(The Jazz are well aware of this);

Anfernee Simons and Mitchelll Robinson aren't projected in the first round because their a worthy development project to "gamble on", their projected that high because it could be RISKY for NBA teams to pass on them in those spots given their obvious talent level.

nbadraft.net (I know, I know) currently has us taking Troy Brown. I love that pick. Big upside with his physical tools.

Don't love many of the stretch big options in the 20-25 range. Guessing we address that need in FA or continued development with Crowder/Favors.

Haven't paid much attention to this year's draft class outside of the top tier. Any suggestions on prospects in our range worth checking out would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

I’ve got my eye on a couple of kids from Villanova. Both Spellman and DiVincenzo are testing the waters but would likely be available. Spellman would be intriguing if we can’t hang on to Favors. Troy Brown and Jacob Evans are some others. I really like DeAndre Hunter but he is not declaring.

He's a nervous teenager with a microphone and camera stuck in his face, and he's trying towalk the fine line between sounding braggadocios and sounding like he lacks confidence... which many of those questions are loaded for... not ust any camera in his face he knows the ***** gonna be seen... and Givony is far from a pro at doing interviews.... it's like he's probing questions and isn't much concerned with rapport, that adds to the awkwardness for sure. Evan Daniels who works for 247(HS recruiting) and is FS1's college basketball's insider is like 100x better at interviewing these types of kids....

It's like givony runs up to these kids like a paparazzi type of ******* "say something for the camera please!!" He can't like have a lil conversation with the kid before the camera rolls and tells em what he wants to talk about? These are kids he should do a better job at helping them present well.. It's basketball not improv...

The best one of these videos DX ever put out in that aspect, had a teenage (former UNC bigman) Kennedy Meeks, who's got a gregarious personality conducting the interview...

Robinson sounds like Shaq's character in Blue Chips... He's keeping his answers short cuz he knows his game speaks for itself.

What about the computer science stuff?

What would you be doing if you weren't playing basketball? Sitting at home.. LOL I love that answer, thats brevity... to me that qualifies as emotionally intelligent which if you're in the buisness of hiring people, you'll know is way more important than just raw IQ ..... sounds like he's fairly well grounded and honest IMO..Thats like a ****ing beauty pageant question, who gives a ****, that kid is gonna be a pro basketball player, those cards have been dealt long ago...

Issuf Sanon International Olimpija Ljubljana 6-4 PG/SG 18.4

props for this list. going thru the names i dont know. I like what i see from this kid.. If he can shoot it he can play... Turned 18 at the end of october.

He's slippery and 6'4" and has nice finishing instincts around the rim.

Lol there's some errors on that list tho, Haniif Cheatham is like 6'4" max, not 6'9"....

Their list sucks but i just wanna point out that they have things in a top100 order and then all the players listed outside of the top-100 their no longer in list form (best to worst), so there's players i feel are top100 guys and their like mixxed in with a bunch of no-names..

I've officially decided I want Jacob Evans or Khyri Thomas... Props to Cy for identifying Evans so early. I just think if he had the right attitude he could be super Joe Ingles. I love his game and think he'd be pretty awesome in what we do.

Thomas is just solid to me and I think could be more, but I want two way players and he brings it on defense and can shoot. Some of these guys that only play defense scare me... the shot may never come around.
