any of you blokes familiar with the Alabama area ? Wife has to go there for a work conference, we've not been to the south before. Any tips of what to avoid or take in would be greatly appreciated. cheers dudes

I kind of wish the North U.S. would have let the South U.S. secession happen. They have a different culture that I don't really like. I think in North America it would have been, had the south left the U.S. to become the Confederacy, U.S.A. (minus the south ) at the top, Canada second, Mexico third and the Confederacy last as far as most major metrics are concerned, economic, productivity, education, etc.. The U.S. would be better without the states that tried to leave so that they could continue slavery. Those states are a drain on the rest of this great nation.
